“I always wanted to break into the acting business and be on television but Celebrity Actors Camp actually helped make my dream possible."
Miami, FL (PRWEB) February 25, 2011
Susana Hoyos, a local teen from Celebrity Actors Camp in Miami, has just been cast to star in Nickelodeon Latin America’s Grachi, the network’s new live-action television program for teens and her television debut. Shot in Miami, the comedy series follows Grachi, a young girl who must learn to use her new found magical powers all while coping with her school, boys and just growing up. Grachi will be produced in Spanish and will be released in Latin America this spring. Susana Hoyos and her show, Grachi will also be distributed in the United States, Latin America and Europe.
Hoyos, who recently attended Phill Lewis and Adrian R'Mante’s Celebrity Actors Camp in Miami and is represented by Lauren Greene from the Green Agency, credits her acting debut to her recent camp experience and training. “I always wanted to break into the acting business and be on television,” said Hoyos, “but Celebrity Actors Camp actually helped make my dream possible.”
If done correctly, acting camps can provide both professional and personal growth opportunities for young children and teenagers. The experience of individualized camp structure and emphasis on commercials, television and film gives attendees greater understanding of acting and the multi-faceted opportunities that accompany the experience including increased confidence in acting abilities and pride in accomplishments.
Adrian R'Mante, who can currently be seen on the Disney Channel and Saturday mornings on ABC playing the role of Esteban on the hit television series The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, offers a six week celebrity acting camp taught by celebrities in cities across the United States and Canada.
“I don’t think it should be that hard for kids and teenagers to follow their dream of acting. They just need training, confidence, true knowledge of the business and a few tricks to break into the Hollywood,” says R'Mante. “It’s one thing to teach acting but it’s another thing to actually live in Hollywood and make a living as a professional actor on television. We want to pass this knowledge on the next generation of young actors and their parents.”
Graduates of Celebrity Actors Camp have appeared in hits including NBC’s Parenthood, Alice in Wonderland with Johnny Depp, and Modern Family to name a few. For more success stories and upcoming camps in a city near you, visit http://www.celebrityactorscamp.com.
Smile always,
Adrian R'Mante

Hey, my name is Sebastian Mercado, and I just finished my CAC experience a week ago. Honestly, I loved this camp. It's an experience I will NEVER forget & something I learned so much from. I've always had a passion for acting & I've been wanting to take it to the next level. So I enrolled in CAC after hearing about it on the radio. On the first day of camp, I knew nobody, I was insecure about my acting skills because I assumed everyone else was stellar, and I was around celebrities; so I was pretty overwhelmed. During this 6 week course, I made a handful of new friends, gained a lot of confidence, learned so much about what acting really is & the inside scoop on everything else. The celebrities Adrian R'Mante brings in are awesome. I have no complain about them. They make sure you're learning & everyone participates. They even have a one-on-one with you if you need help. After every class was over, I always wanted to go back. And, that's coming from a 16 year-old. Every class is different, but it builds on what you learned the week before. I really felt like I belonged there, and in a way, it was like a mini-family. All the older kids got along with the little kids. They always had questions for us, and they learned from watching us. We were like a role model to them, in a way. The last weekend at camp, we had a showcase for agencies from around the country. Adrian brought in several ones at the Providence camp. In all honesty, I was completely nervous. I had never done anything of this type of caliber before. But, I remembered all the things I've learned; such as, turning that nervousness into energy. I went into the showcase pretty confident, not really knowing how well I performed. They told us we would receive a call-back within 3 hours and 3 months. I received a call back the next day. The Boston agent really loved me. I went this past week for an interview, signed with them, and went on my first casting call 2 days ago. If someone would have told me I would be signed to an agency to be on TV & Film 6 months ago, I would have NEVER believed them. Larry Lafond, a casting director from Nickelodeon, also has me on his callback list. None of this would have ever happened if it weren't for Adrian, Sandra, & of course, the fabulous crew he brings in. Recently, I was just accepted to attend the Summer Camp in L.A. this summer. I'm looking forward to attending, & learning a lot more! I want to thank Adrian and everyone associated to CAC for this opportunity, that I will most certainly take advantage of. If you're a young actor that wants to pursue acting, I HIGHLLY RECOMMEND that you take the Celebrity Actors Camp, you won't regret it!

Hi Adrian,
Justin has officially booked the role of Mikey Amato in Ira Finkelstein's Christmas! We are soooo happy and proud!!! What a huge accomplishment. I can't wait to see the movie! The movie will be set in Leavenworth, WA. Here is the website for the movie: Ira Finklestein’s Christmas. It looks super cute and it should be very fun to film. So far we have met the boy who will be playing Ira Finkelstein and the director, Sue Corcoran. Justin really hit it off with the boy who will play Ira. I know that they will have a great time filming together. The director is great too - I think that she will be great to work with. She is very nice. What an exciting new adventure!!!
Thank you once again for your guidance. You have been so supportive of him and have tought him so much! We are so very appreciative of all that you have done for us. You are doing a great thing for these kids - you are such a wonderful role model to them.
I still can't quite believe that we are where we are right now. I had no idea that we would be on this wonderful ride 9 months ago. I will keep you posted on how it's going. It looks like most of Justin's filming dates will be in April. I am also so thankful to know that I can contact you for anything and that you will be there for Justin and I. I still have so much to learn and appreciate that you are there to answer my questions.
Thank you ~
Terra Howell

Hi Chester,
Just wanted to let you know that Justin gave you credit today. He had a print job with Nike this morning and after it was done, they told me that he did really great and is a very good listener. In the car on the way home, I complimented him on what they said. He said "I remembered what Chester said". He told me about what you taught regarding repeating back to the director/photographer the direction they give to make sure you understand. Thanks for being such a great teacher! Thought you'd like to hear that he is really applying and thinking about what he has learned... Hope you have a Merry Christmas! See you in a few weeks.

YO ADRIAN- THANKS! :P
You know what's really cool? I just had a moment. LIKE A REAL emotional moment. It really struck me how everything happens for a reason. Fate is SO overwhelming. I was thinking how lucky I was to take a chance and stumble accross your camp. I WAS SO LUCKY to experience what I did this last summer. And now I am taking it to the next level. I am currently CAST in an independent FILM. I am also working on attending a University (currently at comm college) by next fall or spring. I am so overwhelmed at how lucky I got- with everything. And I say lucky because I don't believe I deserve this life. I don't think I worked HARD ENOUGH for my life. What have I done to be so lucky- to fall head over heals for the performing arts? It's like "how dare I" you know? How dare my life be great when so many others have it worse? What about the kids who never had an outlet like theatre and live in shambles? It's hard for me to accept my fortunes but it's not hard for me to appreciate those who helped me along the way. Thank you so much Adrian. Thank you for being real and truthful with me. Thank you for being a great teacher. You ARE someone who deserves the best. If you're human, and I know you are, you have doubts. I want to remind you to keep going strong. When I think of camp and how you and Sandra personally helped me, it makes me feel SO greatful. Wishing you the best of luck this year.
PS Hug Sandra for me.
Rosie
Adrian,
I wanted to share with you about the extremely positive impact your camp has had on my family’s life. When my son, Brooklyn, was invited to join I had no idea what to expect. My wife and I were just parents who wanted to support the dream of our child and knew little about the industry or how to make the best path for our son. We had tried submitting him to an agent here or there before, but never had any response.
Brooklyn is such a high energy young child that I feared he would not be able to pay attention long enough to really benefit from each of the workshops offered. My wife and I are truly appreciative to have been able to sit in and take notes for our son since he could not do so himself. It was amazing to see the rapid growth of not only our son, but also every child that was a part of the camp. It became very clear that this was the place for our son to learn about his passion and upgrading to level 4 was an obvious choice.
After submitting Brooklyn to the agents on your list the way you instructed, the amount of agents who contacted us about Brooklyn was surprising and the numbers are still rising! He now has multiple legitimate agents that didn’t charge him anything upfront and is auditioning for commercials and print work regularly. Then something else incredible happened, I used the same tips you gave out at the camp and went on a few auditions of my own. I ended up booking several roles in independent movies and I have recently been casted for another!
My son and I are proof that what you are doing works! I know in my heart that your camp will continue to grow and offer great opportunities for those who are passionate about their art! You have created a beautiful program and I am truly thankful for all the hard work you and your staff put forth.
Sincerely,
Robert Willard

Hi all,
I just had to let you all know that Justin booked his first job today! He went on his second audition since we signed with an agent here in Seattle yesterday. It is for a T-Mobile video that will be shown in their stores and also on their You Tube site. We are soooo excited! Thank you to all of you for your excellent training, advice, support, wisdom, and encouragement. You should have seen the happy dances and tears flowing in this household a few minutes ago. This is amazing and so very exciting. I never would have believed that we would be doing this six months ago! We can't wait to see you all in a few months at pilot camp!
I attached his pic - I know that you have a ton of kids to remember and it must blur together.... :o)

Children In Film first met Alora Smith in 2008 at a CIF Speaker Series Event here in Los Angeles which featured Actor and Alora's acting Coach Adrian R'Mante (Esteban, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody). Such events are free to Enhanced Members of ChildrenInFilm.com, and Alora and her mother Julie were trying to soak up all the information they could.
After snapping a few shots with Adrian at the events close, Alora and her mother breifly discussed her aspirations with the staff of Children In Film. Having come from Michigan, Alora begain working in her own home town of Bloomfield Hills and was now spreading her wings in Los Angeles. She and her mother were staying at the Oakwood Apartmentswhere many industry families staying while testing the LA waters.
Alora returned to Michigan, but continued to pursue her dream. She kept in contact with Hollywood through ChildrenInFilm.com and even won CIF's photo contest.
By July of this year, Alora's mother Julie was reporting that they were in Los Angeles for the premiere of Flipped - a feature film directed by Rob Reiner (A Few Good Men). After auditioning in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Alora was exstatic to learn she had booked the role all because of CIF and participating in Adrian's Celebrity Actors Camp!
In a recent email to Children In Film, Julie commented that "because of Alora's photo win, and Adrian's intensive Celebrity Camp, she is now represented by Manager Annet McCroskeywho just helped her sign with Lewis and Beal
Her First Gig!
We just wanted to share with you that Riley got her first gig! She will be in a photo shoot for a catalog this Friday! She is super excited! She also went on an audition last week, and although she didn't get the part, she was called back for a 2nd look. She is super excited! Thanks for all you did to prepare her for these opportunities!
Tested for a lead character in a new series for Disney! My son Nick has taken two workshops with Adrian R'Mante. He has grown so much as an actor and that is due to the fabulous teaching of Adrian. Adrian really has a knack for understanding kids and helping them really be in touch with themselves. Nick has thoroughly enjoyed every minute of class!! I also wanted to acknowledge the man behind the scene, Tim Sharpe. He is really the unsung hero and I just wanted to say thank you for being so gracious and helpful to us.
Nick has gone out on some amazing auditions for lead roles in feature films since taking Adrian's camp.
He has grown so much as an actor and that is due to the fabulous teaching of Adrian. Adrian really has a knack for understanding kids and helping them really be in touch with themselves. Nick just booked the new Ron Howard project, “Parenthood” and a new MTV series and movie starring opposite David Duchovny, which shoots in New Mexico thanks to The Celebrity Actors Camp!! Thanks Adrian and celebrities for EVERYTHING!!

I am so thankful to have Adrian as an acting coach. He is so talented and I learn
from him constantly. One thing Adrian told me a year ago when we first met, was
to "Stay with a teacher you progress with." Adrian really cares about his students
and he has gone out of his way to help me and keep me going. Another saying of
his about the industry is that it is about being at the right place at the right time,
and being prepared. That really payed off for me when I got an interview with an
agency, and I found out about it two hours prior. I didn't know what to expect,
but they asked if I had anything prepared, so I showed them the monologue that
Adrian and I went through in the summer camp. It had been a very successful
interview and I am now signed with that agency.
In the summer, I had signed with M International in Los Angeles and Christi Talent
Management in Calgary, Alberta.
In Los Angeles, I also got to be an extra on MTV's Hip Hop Championship and had
received the lead in a Student Film by Monica Torres, who is apart of Inner City
Filmmakers.
Update: Has now done 8 Burger King commercials
Because of Adrian R'Mante great coaching, my daughter’s confidence has exploded!
Jillian has recently booked two more Burger King spots that will be aring at the Teen Choice Awards.
My daughter, Brittany Guthzeit, has been studying with Adrian since he started his camp this summer. She just booked her first co-star role. It’s a student film from the Art Institute in Santa Monica, but it’s still a first for her. Brittany is playing Patricia, one of the five characters in the short film titled Detention. We are very excited for the filming that takes place on December 9.
Chelsea has been on a competition dance team for the past 5 years. She decided to start getting into acting. We attended the NoHo Arts Festival in October where we found out about the Celebity Actors Camp.
This has been Chelsea's first session with Adrian. She has just been selected to do kids improv at the LA Connection Comedy Theatre in Sherman Oaks. You can see her perform on Sunday afternoons at 3p.
She also had a small part in a student film which will be presented at the Film Festival in either December or January.
Heath has book a play for the Dallas Theater Who's Tommy and he was the Lead (Tommy) and 2 local print jobs.
Heath is also signed with Abrams Artist in there youth Commercial Department.
Kalen Robinson is an ARYAC student. Kalen is currently
shooting a feature film entitled "The Sweetest Heir". Kalen
is a principal in the movie and playing the role of Brittany.
Madison Hill has booked the following jobs since she has been with the Celebrity Actors Camp.
Commercial/Promo for Ubisoft Ener-G Dance Squad Wii game
Commercial for THQ All-Star Cheer Squad Wii game
Commercial for TV Land Prime
Pilot Presentation for new TV series
Hitomi music video
Hi my name is Chastity Simpkins and my daughters Kayla, Mykasia, and Tapanga has learned so much while attending ARYAC. Kayla recently booked a role on "ER" and a national McDonald's commercial. Mykaia booked a Publix commercial. Tapanga booked a role in a play, "The Christmas Carol" Adrian R' Mante and Tim Sharpe works really well with children. I would recommend this camp to any child in the business looking for success.
Leah Liang Lewis took Adrian's first class and she applied what she learned in class and booked 2 jobs while in class. One was with Disney Channel and the other was a PSA commercial for energy conservation. The funny thing was for the energy conservation, they needed a Caucasian girl and Leah is Chinese. They were so impressed with Leah that they created a part for her. The other girl and boys worked one day, but Leah worked two days.
My daughter Kayla Simpkins recently booked a national McDonald's commercial and a role on "ER" while attending ARYAC. I recommend this camp to any child looking for success in the acting business. ADRIAN, YOU ROCK!!
Joshua had a co-starting role in the movie Role Models.

"Courtney took Adrian's class during the Summer and then again when he came north to the San Francisco Bay Area. Adrian pulled the best out of Courtney, he had faith in her abilities where I didn't have much. Consequently, after a showcase in LA Courtney signed with an agent and had her first audition December 6th and then a call back December 10th. She didn't book the job, but because of Adrian she had the confidence to go into the audition knowing what she should be doing. Adrian has so much patience and love for the children he teaches, he gives 100% to them"

Lexi can currently be seen in the T-Mobile commercial as the girl who says her friends grandma thinks her dad is delish. Check it out. Way to go Lexi!
